Marsai Martin is best known for her role as Diane on ABC’s show Black-ish. She pitched her for the movie Little idea to Kenya Barris, the producer of Black-ish who is also a producer of Little. Then, Martin signed a deal with Universal pictures. She played a lead role in the movie alongside Regina Hall and Issa Rae. Martin was awarded the Guinness World Record for the youngest Hollywood executive producer, working on a major production at age 14. She also had been awarded nine NAACP Image Awards along with three additional nominations. She was awarded the Phenom Award in 2019, and is a two time winner of the BET YoungStars Award.
